Remote Web Application Tester | WFH Opportunity

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a meticulous and skilled Web Application Tester to join our dynamic team. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Quality Engineering professional with expertise in testing web applications and working with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager). In this role, you will collaborate closely with a talented group of colleagues to ensure our web applications operate seamlessly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hands-on testing of web applications, emphasizing AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).
• Work collaboratively with the team to optimize the use of AEM and manage system applications effectively.
• Foster and maintain robust working relationships with team members to deliver exceptional testing solutions.
• Execute various testing methodologies, including UI, functional, white box, and integration testing for applications deployed in Linux environments.
• Utilize UNIX commands to access remote servers, manage file systems, and analyze logs with regular expressions.
  
  

Required Skills

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering, demonstrating a successful track record in delivering impactful results.
• Proficient in Java and/or Scala programming, with the ability to comprehend, write, and test code in these languages.
• Familiar with Java and/or Scala libraries such as Selenium, Apache Commons, HTTP Ning, JSoup, XML libraries, and JSON libraries.
• Experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Competent in constructing automation frameworks from the ground up and developing test cases using JUnit, TestNG, ScalaTest, and ScalaCheck.
• Practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and tools including DOM, SVN/Git, Maven, SBT, and Jenkins.
• Understanding of REST API testing and automation, alongside performance testing using tools like JMeter and Gatling.
• Comfortable with version control systems such as SVN and Git.
