Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Project Architect/Senior Project Coordinator to join our esteemed team in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead project teams through all design phases, ensuring successful project delivery from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with both internal engineers and external consultants to manage project development, emphasizing technical excellence.
  • Partner with Project Managers to implement project plans, maintaining adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Deliver technical insights by assessing, evaluating, and proposing design solutions that address client requirements.
  • Perform value engineering assessments to ensure financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Draft technical documentation, including assessments of existing structures and concept design narratives.
  • Research and collect product data for architectural specifications, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Mentor junior architectural staff, providing technical guidance and maintaining quality control standards.
  • Facilitate and sometimes lead client meetings, articulating design concepts and technical elements with clarity.
  • Conduct field investigations to evaluate existing conditions and ensure comprehensive documentation.
  • Execute analyses for building codes and life safety, guaranteeing compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Offer support during the construction phase by addressing RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and conducting site inspections.
  • Generate detailed 2D drawings utilizing Autodesk Revit software.

Required Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree in architecture is essential; a Master's or Professional degree is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in producing and coordinating design and construction documents.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Possession of a professional architecture license is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, Bluebeam, Adobe, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Desktop Connector.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and 3D visualization tools such as Enscape and TwinMotion is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Revit Add-Ins like Ideate Software, CTC Tools, DiRoots, or PyRevit.
  • Strong project management capabilities, encompassing experience with scheduling and work breakdown structures.
  • Familiarity with the Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) and Florida Product Approval system for building components.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, emphasizing clarity and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Experience in federal healthcare and non-healthcare projects, particularly with NAVFAC and USACE guidelines, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of FGI guidelines and prior interaction with Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
  • Experience with writing and editing specifications utilizing the Masterspec format.
  • Background in complex, multi-phase renovation projects.
  • Prior involvement in technical quality control reviews and redlining architectural documents.
  • Experience with Design-Build projects and familiarity with Autodesk BIM 360 is a plus.
