Senior Project Manager - Construction - Remote | Work From Home

Job Overview

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in the strategic oversight and administration of construction projects within the electrical power, communications, and industrial sectors. This role is tailored for seasoned professionals proficient in diverse engineering disciplines, including civil, structural, and mechanical engineering.

You will act as a key advisor to both general and executive management, offering critical insights and guidance on significant business decisions. Your leadership will be vital in the successful execution of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) turnkey projects, ensuring alignment with our clients’ objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead program management for major clients, encompassing comprehensive project management, financial tracking, bidding, safety protocols, field support, and administrative duties.
  • Mentor and cultivate the skills of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, promoting their professional development.
  • Participate in occasional travel to oversee and manage construction projects on-site.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional organizational capabilities paired with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic spreadsheet structure, formatting, and use of formulas.
  • Familiarity with Vista (Viewpoint) software is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of project management experience handling complex projects related to transmission lines or substation construction, or comparable education and experience with high-voltage electrical systems.
  • Prior experience involving electrical design of substations and switchyards is a plus.
  • Candidates must successfully pass all required drug and background checks.
  • A valid driver’s license and compliance with auto insurance requirements are mandatory.
  • Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status, either currently or in the future.
