Job Overview

Are you an adept negotiator with a keen eye for detail, eager to make a meaningful impact in the clinical trials landscape? We are on the lookout for a skilled Associate Clinical Contracts and Budgets Specialist to join our esteemed team in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in facilitating the efficient initiation and execution of clinical studies through effective management of site contracts and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain expertise in all facets of clinical trial contracts and budgets, encompassing negotiation, execution, and oversight.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical study teams to deliver comprehensive contracting services and assistance.
  • Negotiate site contracts and budgets, ensuring adherence to fair market value and established best practices.
  • Oversee the contract lifecycle, including amendments, terminations, and archiving processes.
  • Manage invoice processing and address any contractual or budget-related concerns that may surface.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Legal and Finance, to ensure streamlined operations.
  • Utilize strong analytical abilities to maintain precise contract and payment data.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in negotiating contracts and budgets within a clinical trial context.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing various contract types, such as CTAs, CDAs, and Master Agreements.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Strong organizational acumen and proficiency in prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with common software applications, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word); experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong problem-solving orientation.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in a clinical trial environment.
  • Proven track record in negotiating diverse contract types.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
