Job Overview

We are on the lookout for an accomplished Procurement and Contracts Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. This pivotal role demands a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of procurement processes to enhance our supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies designed to optimize supply assurance, pricing, quality, and delivery.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with suppliers to ensure our operational needs are met effectively.
  • Utilize data analytics to assess and enhance the efficiency of our supply chain operations.
  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with our organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to identify their needs and facilitate a seamless supply chain.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, particularly within manufacturing and commodities such as bulk materials and fabricated steel/piping.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to conduct thorough data analysis.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills to secure advantageous agreements for the organization.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities to formulate effective procurement approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building strong relationships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in procurement and contract management.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
