Job Overview

As a leader in the clinical supply chain planning domain, you will join a pioneering company dedicated to transforming the medical landscape. We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to drive our logistics strategy and support the successful execution of our clinical trials, which are instrumental in the development of innovative therapies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and manage comprehensive supply plans that ensure a seamless flow from drug manufacturing to labeling for clinical use.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to accurately forecast supply requirements, ensuring timely availability for each trial phase.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with manufacturing sites and clinical locations, maintaining optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts.
  • Oversee compliance in the packaging and labeling processes, ensuring all materials are prepared for clinical use.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators to monitor the supply chain’s efficiency and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Proactively identify challenges within the supply chain and implement effective solutions to maintain trial schedules.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a cGMP supply chain environment or working within GCP regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at using analytical tools.
  • Previous experience in clinical supply chain planning is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling the clear explanation of complex concepts both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a capacity for critical thinking in dynamic conditions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member, influencing key stakeholders while demonstrating ownership of responsibilities.
  • Additional experience in manufacturing, project management, clinical operations, or cold chain logistics is a plus.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in biology or a relevant field is required.
  • At least 10 years of pertinent experience in supply chain management, preferably within the clinical sector.
