Job Overview

Join our esteemed team as an SBA Credit Analyst/Underwriter in a remote capacity, where you will be instrumental in the analysis and underwriting of Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, encompassing 7(a), 504, and USDA loans. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with loan officers, processors, and fellow underwriters to ensure that each loan application is meticulously reviewed and approved in accordance with SBA guidelines and our internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of loan applications and financial documentation to determine creditworthiness and perform risk assessments.
  • Execute detailed financial analyses and cash flow forecasts to gauge the borrower's repayment capability.
  • Evaluate collateral and loan structures to ensure compliance with SBA regulations and internal standards.
  • Prepare thorough credit memos and loan packages for submission to the SBA and other lending institutions.
  • Facilitate effective communication with loan officers and processors to collect necessary information and address discrepancies.
  • Monitor and evaluate loan performance, working alongside borrowers to resolve any issues.
  • Keep abreast of SBA regulations and guidelines to maintain compliance and provide direction to team members.
  • Actively participate in credit committee meetings, offering valuable insights and recommendations regarding loan approvals and denials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes related to loan underwriting and portfolio management.
  • Maintain organized and precise loan files and documentation.

Qualifications
