We are currently on the lookout for a committed and passionate Part-Time Instructor specializing in Roadway Safety to further our mission of saving lives and preventing injuries.

Key Responsibilities

In this part-time capacity, you will be instrumental in conducting virtual car seat checks utilizing our thorough curricula and training materials. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting engaging virtual and hands-on training sessions centered on occupant protection safety, employing the resources and curriculum we provide.
• Encouraging participant involvement and assessing the effectiveness of each educational session.
• Representing our organization during both virtual and in-person training events, ensuring that all materials and records are managed effectively.
• Participating in course and trainer evaluations to contribute to the continuous improvement of our educational offerings.
  
  

Required Skills

Candidates should possess the following skills to excel in this role:

• U.S.-certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST)
• A preference for U.S.-certified CPST instructors
• In-depth knowledge of child passenger safety, occupant protection systems, crash dynamics, and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) as outlined in the Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification Training curriculum
• Experience working with underserved communities
• Proven ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
• Strong leadership qualities and professionalism
  
  

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must:

• Be a U.S.-certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST)
• Have a preference for experience as a CPST instructor
