Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Marketing and Development Coordinator to enhance our mission-driven organization focused on empowering adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). This remote position provides a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to our fundraising initiatives while fostering meaningful connections within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Development and Marketing to create an annual stewardship plan aimed at strengthening donor relationships.
  • Assist in the execution of the stewardship plan, including organizing small events, drafting acknowledgment letters, and maintaining year-end gift communication.
  • Manage board rosters using NetSuite CRM and provide essential administrative support to the Foundation Board, including scheduling and preparing meeting materials.
  • Support the Chief Development Officer (CDO) in implementing planned giving initiatives and endowment funding as needed.
  • Engage in graphic design and production of marketing collateral, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Facilitate effective communication with staff, participants, families, donors, and vendors, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Oversee the volunteer program's logistics, scheduling, communication, and reporting, enhancing our community engagement.
  • Streamline departmental processes and supplies management to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Outstanding organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in software such as Canva, Office 365, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, and WordPress; experience with NetSuite or similar CRMs is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in development, sales, marketing, or administration is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current car insurance are required.
