Job description

Overview:

What you can expect from this role:

The Pharmacy Scheduling Specialist reports to the Infusion Supervisor and  works closely with the Pharmacy Authorization Team, Medication Access Team, Infusion Pharmacist Team, Infusion Center employees, referring clinic providers, and external providers/offices. This remote position is primarily responsible for:

  • coordinating the scheduling of patients at all SLHS non-oncology infusion centers
  • responding professionally and promptly to IN basket messages, incoming call queue, email, TEAMS messaging
  • using a variety of technologies, tools and resources to support departmental workflows
  • other duties as assigned

Shift Details: Monday & Friday 10-hour shifts. Possibility of working additional day during week with shorter shifts. On-site training 30-40 hours a week in Meridian required for 6 weeks. 

 

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 year relevant experience in billing, scheduling, authorization, and/or registration 
  • Must be willing to work until 7pm
  • Must live in Idaho or Oregon
