Job description

Speridian Technolgies is recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Coach, Software Engineering for the State of CA, Department of Healthcare Services, Behavioral Health Tech Modernization team.  This person will be part of a state of the art, extremely vast, IT modernization project with a variety of cross-functional teams.

This is a remote role, however there will be meetings in the Sacramento area several times a year. The ideal candidate would be based within a 2-3-hour drive or fly time from the Sacramento, CA area.

A Continuous Improvement Coach for Software Engineering plays a pivotal role in driving organizational excellence by continuously enhancing software development processes and practices. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles, methodologies, and tools, coupled with expertise in continuous improvement frameworks such as Agile, Lean, and DevOps.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills to assess current processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose effective solutions. They are adept at facilitating workshops, coaching teams, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with stakeholders and driving change across the organization.
