What You Can Look Forward To:

Energy Recovery, Inc. is excited to announce an immediate full-time opportunity for a Business Development Manager, Heat Pump. As a vital member of our CO2 Business Unit, you'll report directly to the VP of CO2 and be instrumental in driving business development initiatives. In this role, you'll support our dynamic sales network across Europe and the US, making a significant impact in the growing Heat Pump Market. What Will You Do?
  • Provide technical inputs from Heat Pump segment application to support PX G (Pressure Exchange Device) development and market introduction
  • Attend customer meetings with R&D team to discuss about technical development and application in order to drive business forward
  • Manage business development in terms of pipeline tracking, bookings & sales
  • Provide solutions for CO2 products & ammonia heat pump within industrial  market
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the heat pump market
  • Report on targets and goals to the organization and controls the implementation process through appropriate procedures and planning
  • Set up and define strategies by collaborating  with Energy Recovery's leadership and marketing teams
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, developers, customers, and vendors
  • Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts and coordinate the management of all other accounts
  • Prepare technical presentations/solutions/proposals and other data to key stakeholders
  • All other duties as assigned

  • What You Bring to the Table:
  • 10+ years’ experience in field of sales or business development of industrial heat pump market
  • Graduated with an Bachelors Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering  or Equivalent)
  • Multilingual: English required in addition to other languages such as Spanish, French, Italian or German
  • European experience in heat pump market. Knowledge of the US market is a plus
  • Proven experience working in the heat pump market with industry companies (CARRIER, JCI, MAN or other)
  • Demonstrate technical understanding of various application including district heating and food & beverage
  • Proven track record of working with technical products and B2B customers
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data with the ability to problem solve
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to understand client requirements & specifications
