Job description

🚀 Senior AWS Engineer – Build a High-Performance Healthcare Platform on AWS!

We’re looking for a Senior AWS Engineer. If you have deep experience in AWS, containerization, and advanced networking, and are passionate about building scalable, high-performance platforms from scratch, this role is for you!

Your Mission:
  • AWS Architecture & Management: participate in design and implementation of the platform’s AWS architecture using tools like AWS Control Tower for account management, Advanced Networking for secure connectivity, and various AWS DevOps services.
  • Containerization: Implement and manage containerized environments using tools like Docker and Kubernetes to ensure efficient deployment, scalability, and platform stability.
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Set up and maintain the CI/CD pipeline using AWS CodeDeploy, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, and CodeBuild to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Platform Stability & Performance: Ensure the platform’s stability, performance, and security as it scales, optimizing for high availability and low latency.
  • Collaboration & Feature Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and architects, to ensure seamless platform development and the potential for long-term feature enhancements after the platform is live.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • AWS services, including Control Tower, Advanced Networking, and DevOps tools such as CodeDeploy, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, and CodeBuild.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline management, automating deployments and testing for seamless integration.
  • Proficiency in setting up monitoring and observability tools, particularly DataDog, to ensure platform health and performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with building platforms from scratch and transitioning into Enhance & Operate mode.

  • Location: Anywhere in Mexico (remote work from home)
  • Eligibility: Only fluent English speakers and legal residents/locals can be considered (directly hired as a fulltime employee).
  • Contract Type: Direct hire, indefinite contract.
