Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead our research and development efforts around AI. This role involves designing, testing, and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions that are set to revolutionize the legal industry. As an AI Engineer at Magna, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tools that enhance product intelligence, improve customer interactions, and bring new data-driven products to market. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in AI principles and technologies, with a track record of implementing AI solutions that drive efficiency and growth. This role requires an entrepreneurial self-leader who can identify opportunities for leveraging AI across the business and contribute to projects from concept through implementation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop AI models that address key challenges in the legal sector.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and software developers to integrate AI technologies into existing systems.
  • Test and refine AI solutions to ensure robustness and reliability.
  • Implement prompt engineering to improve the speed, relevancy, and accuracy of the AI solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AI and machine learning.
  • Create detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, flowcharts, and technical specifications.
  • Contribute to the creation of innovative products and services for our clients.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an AI Engineer with a strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts.
  • A solid understanding of Machine Learning (ML) workflows including ingesting, analyzing, transforming data and evaluating results to make meaningful predictions.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Java.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
  • Experience with natural language processing and computer vision is a plus.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • A passion for innovation and a desire to make a real impact in the legal industry.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in an AI engineering role, preferably in a technology-driven industry.
  • Demonstrable track record of successful AI projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Legal industry experience is beneficial but not required.

 

 

Base salary: USD $150,000 - $180,000

 

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
