This key position involves guiding a diverse team while delivering top-tier technical and economic consulting services to energy asset developers, utilities, and system operators. Relocation assistance is available for candidates based in Upstate New York.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and cultivate a motivated team of consultants across a spectrum of experience, from entry-level to seasoned professionals.
  • Foster an environment of perpetual learning and celebrate both achievements and insights gained from challenges.
  • Propel business development initiatives by promoting our consulting services and forging robust relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Ensure exemplary engagement with clients by overseeing consulting projects, generating proposals, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Employ your exceptional communication skills to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership capabilities and mentorship experience.
  • Outstanding presentation and writing proficiency in English.
  • Strong technical knowledge in transmission or distribution principles.
  • Advanced expertise in utilizing tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD/EMTDC, PowerGEM TARA, or Aspen OneLiner.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in power systems consulting for utilities, ISOs, or renewable developers.
  • Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering and familiarity with NYISO, ISO-NE, PJM, or SPP.
