We need an English-fluent Visual QA Specialist, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough visual inspections of TestFlight and live builds across various devices and screen sizes.
Compare implemented designs against approved design specifications and identify discrepancies.
Create detailed QA documentation outlining areas for improvement and necessary design adjustments.
Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both design/product and development teams.
Participate in design review sessions to understand design intent and potential implementation challenges.
Track and follow up on visual issues to ensure they are addressed in subsequent builds.
Assist in defining and maintaining visual quality standards across products.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and consistently.
Stay updated on platform-specific design guidelines (iOS Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design, etc.).
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the visual QA process.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in visual quality assurance, preferably in mobile app development.
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot subtle visual discrepancies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Familiarity with mobile app development processes and TestFlight.
Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and common design tools (e.g.,Figma).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in creating clear, actionable QA reports.

It's a plus:

Background in graphic design or UI/UX design.
Experience with web and desktop application QA.
Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and their visual implications.
Knowledge of responsive design principles.
Understanding of front-end development basics (HTML, CSS).
Experience with visual regression testing tools.

Compensation:

The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $2,000 - $2,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
This position includes a 3-month trial period, with the possibility of extension to a long-term.
This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
