Senior React Fullstack Software Engineer

Position Profile

The position is for a Software Engineer with strong expertise in front-end development, particularly with React.js, and experience or interest in working with Node.js and GraphQL. The candidate should be proficient in JavaScript, using React for the front-end, and have an in-depth understanding of CSS and HTML.

Summary of Skills

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in computer-related fields
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript 
• 5+ years of experience with React.js 
• In-depth understanding of modern React and Node.js concepts (functional components, context, hooks)
• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL experience preferred but not required) 
• Experience in data modeling and writing migrations is a plus
• Experience in GraphQL
• Excellent English and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Proven ability to share knowledge and mentor team members
• Experience collaborating with teammates to diagnose and resolve issues
• Familiarity with writing tests and debugging
• Understanding of design patterns and best practices in code abstraction and isolation
• Knowledge of security best practices
• Ability to align work with overall product and business objectives
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new frameworks and technologies as needed
• Initiative to suggest new ideas and improvements
• Strong advocate of coding standards and quality
• Willingness to work on bug fixing and participate in triage processes
• Self-managing and trustworthy

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Typescript
