Metal Toad is an award-winning AWS Consulting Partner and AWS Managed Services provider company based in the USA. We help our customers with their cloud adoption by providing architecture, migration, optimization, machine learning, and even 24x7 support. We are a professional services firm providing services in software engineering and the cloud. We do Technical consulting, Programming & Quality Assurance, DevOps, Applications, UX, Product management, and Project management.


Metal Toad is a fully remote organization with all employees having the option to work from home. The candidate must be able to work between 8 AM and 5 PM Pacific Time (PST) from Monday through Friday.


Advanced to fluent proficiency in English is a must for our positions since it is the language we communicate at the company.


Job description

The primary role of the Designer is to support the creation and syndication of Metal Toad digital marketing and sales collateral, sales enablement tools, event materials, and a variety of other creative tasks as assigned. 


The ideal candidate takes ownership and initiative of assigned tasks, thrives in change, is detail-oriented, and is comfortable working across shifting priorities and differing levels of ambiguity to find solutions. The candidate will be expected to manage timelines, prioritize workload, and know when to ask for direction. 


Responsibilities 


Visual Design

  • Work under the direction of the manager to develop creative concepts and high-quality designs that adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Design and produce a wide variety of digital marketing assets, sales assets, collateral, and sales enablement tools.
  • Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify the communication of complex concepts.
  • Hit the ground running to design and update RFPs and proposals based on established templates and brand guidelines.
  • Design and update website, landing pages, and email campaigns on Hubspot.


Production Design


  • Ability to update content in previously designed deliverables and ensure the established visual style is consistently utilized throughout.
  • Ability to uphold the visual aesthetic and integrity of the original design while producing a high volume of new assets.
  • Optimize graphics for digital platforms.
  • Prepare images to coincide with social and blog posts.
  • Assist with event materials.
  • Assemble final presentation material for printing as needed.



Content Creation


  • Optimize website content, including titles, meta descriptions, and on-page elements, to improve search engine performance.
  • Analyze and report on SEO performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Write and suggest clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including blogs, social media posts, and product descriptions.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Support the marketing team in the execution of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance marketing efforts.

  • A design portfolio demonstrating high-quality design skills in digital marketing fields such as ebook layout development, one-sheets (promotional pages), and social media posts.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data through images.
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (mainly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and G Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of designing digital marketing assets, such as:
    • infographics, 
    • landing pages, 
    • email campaigns, 
    • social media ads, and/or Google ads.
  • Familiarity with designing print collateral, such as:
    • ebooks, 
    • presentations, 
    • one-sheets, 
    • business cards, 
    • and other graphics.
  • Interested in copywriting and proofreading for digital marketing assets.
