Job Title: Junior Tax Analyst

Corporate Title: Junior Analyst

Location: São Paulo - Brazil

Overview

The Junior Tax Analyst will support the preparation of tax reports to be filed before the local regulators on a timely and accurate basis as well as to internal and external Auditors. Will support on required reports for senior management and other internal stakeholders in line with applicable tax legislation and regulatory requirements. The Junior Tax analyst will cover several areas of specialty within its function such as the Tax Provision, Tax Collections, Tax Reporting, Tax Compliance and Tax Controversy. The Tax analyst will also cover those tax services roles with a focus on controls, setting standard and quality oversight. The Tax analysist will provide support in assisting in tax audits demanded by the Local tax authorities and regulators.

What You’ll Do

  • Be accountable to prepare, revise and deliver timely and accurate tax obligations;
  • Be responsible to interact with different stakeholders to ensure proper application of the tax legislation across de bank;
  • Provide support in different roles of the area, including in the tax audits and controversy functions;
  • Be responsible to navigate and understand in full the tax related systems and their connection with different legacy systems around the bank.

Skills You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting;
  • At least three years of experience in the tax area;
  • Previous experience with tax related provision and payment systems;
  • Good analytical skills including critical thinking and issue-solving.

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Good and clear communication skills, both written and spoken;
  • Certifications in the tax and accounting areas;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
