In this pivotal role, you will provide essential support to Medicare Part D members and healthcare providers by managing pharmacy benefit requests. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while delivering an exceptional service experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately establish cases for members.
  • Review and evaluate clinical information to make sound decisions regarding requests.
  • Engage with providers to gather additional information as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant compendia and Medicare guidelines and timelines.

Required Skills

  • Active pharmacist license in the state of residence.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit requests and prior authorization processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective outreach to providers.
  • Proficient in reviewing clinical data and making informed decisions.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D.
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a practicing pharmacist.
