Responsibilities: 

  • As part of the Cyolo Sales Engineering team you will be pivotal to our success in the region and a key partner to our sales team. You can expect to spend your time Presenting Cyolo to prospects, customers and partners. 
  • Delivering presentations and networking at major industry events  
  • Building and delivering interactive demos  
  • Planning, documenting and executing PoCs / PoVs, resolving technical challenges as you do 
  • Finding bugs and resolving them with engineering  
  • Working with Product Management and Engineering to scope new features and capabilities  
  • Training channel partners 
  • Planning deployments and documenting designs for our amazing post sales team  
  • Solving complex technical problems for customers. We don’t do post sales, but you know how it is, sometimes a customer will call, and you’ll be able to help them out  
  • Building automations, scripts and tools to help us get the job done with as few clicks as possible  

Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of experience as a Cyber Security Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, including experience selling, demonstrating, installing and testing network infrastructure, identity and security appliances.  
  • A strong understanding of Cybersecurity market, competitor landscape, and products. Experience with OT Cybersecurity solutions is an advantage but not essential.  
  • An ability to effectively present in front of audiences of up to 50 people in a confident and compelling way 
  • Be able to create PoV / PoC plans with mutually agreed test and acceptance criteria and lead the POV process to a successful conclusion 
  • Proven experience with systems installation, configuration, and administration of routers/switches, UNIX Linux and Windows-based systems 
  • An engineering mindset with a wish to understand and resolve problems, including a strong understanding of networking and diagnostic tools (tcpdump, Wireshark)  
  • Experience with dockers, containers and scripting- advantage 
  • Have great communication skills  
  • Happy to travel within region for a couple of days once every two weeks 
  • Fluent spoken and written German. You don’t have to live in DACH, but it is an advantage if you do.
