Job description

Your mission
As our Finance Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our financial operations, collaborating closely with our COO and every department to keep things running smoothly. You’ll take ownership of invoicing, supplier relations, financial reporting, and cash flow monitoring — all while constantly looking for ways to make our systems smarter and more efficient.
What You’ll Be Working On
  • Numbers That Matter:
    • Improve Financial Tracking: Level up our Excel systems within your first 3 months—making data work for you!
    • Supplier Invoice Accuracy: Ensure 100% precision on supplier invoices, month after month.
    • Timely Customer Invoicing: Keep our invoicing on point, getting them out within 5 business days and aiming for a 95% on-time rate.
    • Accounts Receivable: Slash overdue payments to under 5 days with your proactive follow-ups.
  • Strategic Moves:
    • Financial Reporting: Deliver clear, insightful monthly reports to our management team and investors.
    • Budget Mastery: Build and manage our budget from the ground up.
    • Partnership Optimization: Work with external accountants to streamline processes and cut costs.
    • Cash Flow Vigilance: Keep an eye on the cash flow weekly, flagging any risks before they become problems.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Experienced in Finance: You’ve navigated the financial landscape, ideally in startups, and know how to keep things running smoothly.
  • Process Lover: You thrive on setting up and refining processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Detail Obsessed: You have a sharp eye for accuracy when it comes to numbers and records.
  • Proactive Problem Solver: You don’t just find problems — you bring solutions.
  • Data-Driven Thinker: You know how to structure data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Master Organizer: Juggling tasks is your superpower, and you never loose sight of what matters most.
  • Excellent Communicator: You’re clear and confident, and fluent in German when it’s needed for external comms.
Why You’ll Love This Role
  • Hands-On Impact: You’ll have the opportunity to dive deep into both operational tasks and big-picture financial strategy in a fast-moving environment.
  • Career Growth: With our expansion, there’s real potential for you to step into leadership and grow alongside us.
  • Immediate Contribution: Your work will matter from day one — you’ll play a critical role in our success.
The Tools You’ll Be Using
  • Microsoft Excel: You’ll be an Excel pro, ready to optimize our financial tracking.
  • DATEV Unternehmen Online: Familiarity is a plus, but we’re always open to your tool suggestions if you’ve got something better!
  • Flexibility: While we’re always exploring new tools, we need someone comfortable with our current systems and excited about improving them.
Is This You?
