Engineering Manager - Aerosystems at Quast Ltd

Our client, a large government customer, are seeking an Engineering Manager – Aerosystems to join their team. The role is based in Bristol with some remote working. The role requires SC clearance.

Initial requirements are scheduled to run until 31/03/2025 and offer a rate up to £550/day.

IR35 STATUS: Inside IR35. Our client has indicated that they intend to operate the engagement as Inside IR35. Candidates would be required to operate through an umbrella company on this engagement. The rates above represent rate payable to the umbrella co.

Brief Team Description

You will be working within the Typhoon EA and Certification teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Support to Service Life Extension.
• Lead Design Organisation Modification (LDOM) certification – verifying EF mod classification and undertaking certification action in accordance with the Military Air System Certification Process as required.
• Quadriga/Halcon CA22 – understanding the scale and categories of retro-applicable mods. Recommending an MRP-compliant way forward.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience of MAA Certification and in-service support is essential.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• You would ideally have Typhoon experience.

Candidate Eligibility

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, this role will not offer Visa sponsorship. Tier 2 – General visas cannot be accepted.
