Job description

This is a short term consulting opportunity for a customer based in the UK for 3 months at 40hrs a week.

The Job Functions

  • Lead the discovery and rebuild of an Active Directory infrastructure, focusing on policy remediation and security improvement
  • Conduct a thorough review of default OU policies, password policies, and dormant accounts to ensure operational efficiency and security
  • Implement foundational changes to the Active Directory structure to support future growth and security needs
  • Collaborate closely with teams to ensure smooth project execution and in-person communications for critical remediation tasks

The Sizzle:

  • A seasoned expert in Active Directory architecture, with experience in rebuilds and security policy reviews
  • Strong ability to manage and remediate complex directory services, including password policy and dormant account cleanup
  • Highly knowledgeable in best practices for directory services and security management
  • Able to work in a hybrid environment, with some on-site requirements for communication and remediation efforts

Technologies used in this role:

  • Microsoft Active Directory (2022 version)
  • Azure Entra
  • NTLM security protocols

Experience requested for this role:

  • Significant experience working with Active Directory, including rebuilding and policy remediation
  • Proven ability to optimize and secure directory services
  • Experience collaborating with security teams on remediation and rebuild efforts

Education requested:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)

Certifications requested:

  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Other relevant Microsoft certifications related to Active Directory and Azure
