The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for devising the overall marketing strategy to win in the local markets, defining the specific performance marketing strategy and operationalising them, as well as collaborating with other departments (Influencers, Organic Social, SEO, PR, Funnel) to ensure that they localize their strategy adequately to the local markets.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Local Strategy:

  • Insights: Monitor and report on the local consumer, competition and marketing ecosystem to inform the marketing strategy that allows us to win locally. Achieve this through an entrepreneurial approach vs a long and expensive research approach.
  • Strategy: Turn the gathered data and insights into a local strategy that covers (a) WHO is the local target persona for Novakid (adaptation of the global target), (b) WHAT messaging should we deliver to convert them (adaptation of the global communication), (c) HOW do we most effectively deliver the message, i.e. what paid and organic channels to use and how.
  • Qualitative KR: Line management is aligned and confident about the proposed strategy, which is considered as appropriately supported with data.


2. Performance Marketing:

  • Operations: Invest the monthly allocated budget into the paid channels identified above, in close collaboration with the creative team and the influencer team (for creative assets to be used in own paid channels), closely monitor and optimize on a daily basis.
  • Reporting: Deliver and discuss weekly report on the performance of the investments, including data, insights and next actions.
  • Qualitative KR: Line management provides positive assessment on the rationale for decision-making and quality of reporting as they feel they get the right visibility and the decisions made are adequately data-backed.
  • Quantitative KR: Volume of booking of trial classes and CAC


3. Other channels collaboration (Influencers, Organic Social, SEO, PR, Funnel):

  • Insights/Strategy: Proactively bring local insights to other departments and collaborate with them to shape the strategy to win with their channel in the local market.
  • Support: Reactively act as support for other departments that need a local expert when designing or implementing their plans.
  • Qualitative KR: Positive feedback from peers and line management on cross functional collaboration.
