The team you'll join, Risk Insights and Awareness, is responsible bringing insights from the dynamically changing world of digital and technology risks – both within and outside Swiss Re. We aim to establish a "single source of truth" on our exposures, what we can do to mitigate them, and how we can measure our progress. For this, we combine our collective expertise, curiosity, and actively seek out effective data-driven solutions.

About the role:

  • Develop insights and "connect the dots", with a drive to automate and innovate our data gathering efforts
  • Perform requirements analysis, record and communicate these requirements in an understandable way to the involved parties
  • Support ingestion of datasets and any data pre-processing required
  • Deliver comprehensive reporting solutions (self-service reports, dashboards) for our team and customers
  • Contribute to the team with data visualisation expertise
  • Critically evaluate the effectiveness of reports and identify areas for improvement (including data quality checks and validation rules)
  • Create and maintain documentation
  • Collect insights from data and evaluate digital & technology risks
  • Enable sound risk-based decision making
  • Join Swiss Re's healthy and transparent risk culture where everyone engages in continuous risk accountability activities

About you:

  • Ability to break down complex technical topics and communicate them in a relatable and clear way
  • Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
  • Passion, drive, and a belief in the value of performing business analysis as an enabler of business performance

Nice-to-have

  • Prior knowledge in cybersecurity, risk management, privacy and related topics
  • Experience in data engineering, database design and programming
  • Knowledge of scripting language (e.g. Python, Java script, Typescript)
  • Prior experience with Palantir Foundry as target platform
  • Experience implementing advanced UI design
  • Experience of working in an Agile setup
