Matrix Global seeks a highly experienced and skilled management-technology Actimize SME - Director to join our dynamic team.


This role involves leading and managing database technologies, providing strategic direction, and ensuring the highest performance, security, and reliability levels. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database management, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Led and managed the ACTIMIZE database technology team to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for database management and technology innovation.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and availability following industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address database-related needs and challenges.
  • Provide expert guidance on database technologies and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze database performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage budget and resources effectively to achieve departmental goals.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the company's database systems competitive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Actimize -database management and technology.
  • At least five years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of implementing and managing complex database systems.
  • Strong understanding of database architecture, design, and optimization.
  • Experience with various database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
