Description

As the Business Development Team Leader, you will manage our North America BDR team responsible for generating qualified meetings for our sales team through inbound and outbound activities. This role will be focused on coaching, mentoring and growing the team to help them reach their potential and consistently enhance their performance. The ideal candidate will understand how to work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless experience for our prospects.

Location: East Coast (United States)

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and mentor a team of 5 BDRs, providing regular feedback, training, and performance evaluations to support their growth and development
  • Lead your team to execute successful inbound and outbound activities that generate qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Monitor team KPIs and metrics to ensure the team meets or exceeds their targets
  • Develop and implement action plans when needed to enhance performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing) to optimize outreach processes and messaging, ensuring a high conversion rate from lead generation to sales-qualified meetings
  • Create a positive, high-energy work environment where each team member is encouraged and inspired to reach their goals
  • Analyze campaign data to identify trends and adjust strategies as needed, leveraging insights to refine team tactics and maximize effectiveness



Requirements

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a business development, lead generation, or sales in a SaaS environment with minimum of 1-2 years in a team lead or management role
  • Passion for coaching and developing individuals, with a track record of helping team members grow and achieve their targets
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed pipeline and team performance metrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team and engage with senior stakeholders
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with the ability to quickly adapt to changes
  • Strong team player who collaborates well with other departments and contributes to the overall success of the company
