The Role:

As the Enterprise Architect, you will provide strategic oversight, planning, governance, and direction for GenesisCare’s technology landscape. You will be accountable for designing and implementing a technology strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

You will establish the architecture function, implementing governance processes and offering guidance on technology roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices.

You will be responsible for the overall architecture of systems and processes, ensuring their seamless integration to support business growth, innovation, and efficiency.

Working closely with key stakeholders, you will ensure that technology investments deliver value and meet both current and future business needs, all in line with the organisation's strategic vision. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact and develop your career.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide overall direction, guidance, and definition of IT architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy
  • Develop and Maintain Enterprise Architecture: Design, document, and maintain the architecture framework, guiding the integration of business processes and IT systems
  • Standardisation and Governance: Establish and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency, security, and compliance across all systems
  • Collaborate with leadership to create an IT roadmap that aligns with the organisation’s strategic goals and ensures scalability and flexibility

What You'll Have:

Experience and skills:

  • Extensive experience of IT and industry work including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations within medium to large enterprises
  • Leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
  • Experience in the Health Care sector
  • Experience with business requirements gathering and analysis
  • Solid grounding in core enterprise applications (i.e., SAP, Workday)
  • In-depth technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems including Microsoft Windows server, VMware, Microsoft Windows OS, …
  • Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards (i.e., Virtualisation software, Database management systems, Backup and Recovery tools)
  • Experience with application development tools, including cloud development platforms, integrations platforms, API development tools, build automation tools, …
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership capabilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders
  • Experience with developing strategic plans

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, software development, and data management
  • Experience with enterprise-level platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM) and integration technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software evaluation principles and practice
  • Good knowledge of data privacy and data regulations practices and laws

Other requirements for this role:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Spanish language skills are highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes
