Job description

RecruitGo is looking for a Broker Support/Loan Writer to assist our client, a company that operates in the financial services industry. It offers various services including commercial loans, insurance, investments, Kiwi Saver, and foreign exchange. 

We are looking for someone innovative, empathetic, community-oriented, adaptable, and flexible. You should have great attention to detail, be a self-starter, and possess excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English.

Job Description:
  • Provide AHQ with services for the purpose of providing adviser support for AHQ and completing loan applications ready for submission by AHQ Advisors. Services shall include but not limited to the following:
    • 1. Onboarding new clients including ensuring Declaration and Scope of Service documents are understood and signed;
    • 2. Ensuring all documentation has been appropriately captured and recorded in the CRM system;
    • 3. Ensuring client file notes have been appropriately drafted and recorded in the CRM system;
    • 4. Finalising loan documentation and settlement;
    • 5. Completing client refix and restructures on behalf of AHQ Advisors;
    • 6. Completing client refinancing on behalf of the AHQ Advisors.
  • 1.1. Devoting such time and attention as is required to provide the Services efficiently and in
  • accordance with agreed timetables.
  • 1.2. Ensuring that a lender is always supplied with complete information in relation to any loan
  • application.
  • 1.3. Providing to any lender, upon its request and in compliance with the applicable law and
  • regulations, personal identification documentation for Clients.
  • 1.4. Ensuring that all dealings with any Client are done in person, and, if not so done in person,
  • ensuring that the method used by which to obtain information is disclosed to the applicable lender
  • and complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • 1.5. Maintaining detailed knowledge of all loan products provided by the members of the
  • dealer-group to which AHQ belongs.
  • 1.6. Using only the forms, documents, advertising, promotional materials, and ancillary
  • documentation provided by any lender, for the purposes authorised by the lender.
  • 1.7. Never altering, amending or supplementing any terms or other provisions of any forms,
  • documents, advertising, promotional materials, and/ or ancillary documents provided by a lender
  • without the express prior written approval of the lender.
  • 1.8. Never misrepresenting a lender, a loan product or loan documents (to any Client).
  • 1.9. Performing such other additional obligations or requirements as communicated by a lender
  • arising from, or related to the processing, confirming, and qualifying of loan applications for the
  • lender.
  • 1.10. Checking and recording that the loan funds requested by any Client are for to be for the sole
  • use and benefit of the client unless otherwise explicitly disclosed to any would-be lender.
  • 1.11. Ensuring that a copy of any completed loan application, and any other signed documents
  • relating to such loan application, is always provided to the relevant AHQ Client.
  • 1.12. Promptly supplying any new information received from or relating to a loan application to
  • the applicable lender.
  • 1.13. Maintaining AHQ’s archive of all records and documents pertaining to every submitted loan
  • application.
  • 1.14. Exercising the degree of skill, care and diligence normally expected of a competent financial
  • services provider, specifically a mortgage/ loan broker, and complying with all relevant New
  • Zealand laws and regulations applicable to the performance of the Services including but not
  • limited to:
  • (a) the Code of Conduct prescribed by the FMA; and
  • (b) the rules of any other relevant external regulatory body of which AHQ and/ or the Contractor
  • become members in the future.
  • 1.15. Preserving the ongoing confidentiality and security of all Confidential Information.
  • 1.16. Providing AHQ with all reasonable assistance where requested for the purpose of AHQ both
  • responding to any question, direction or notice issued pursuant to the Privacy Act 2020 and/ or any
  • successor legislation and addressing any complaint relating to the handling of personal
  • information in the course of carrying on business.
  • 1.17. Obtaining AHQ’s prior written consent before using AHQ’s name, logo, trademarks or other
  • intellectual property in any advertising, promotional materials, communications or other materials
  • (in any medium, including online).
  • 1.18. Maintaining a professional manner and standard of service at all times to ensure that AHQ,
  • its business and/ or Clients are not brought into disrepute.
  • 1.19. Consistently and continuously using all best endeavors to promote AHQ and its best interests and grow AHQ’s client base.
