The Business Development Representative for Cayuse will work with some of the world’s most prestigious research institutions in healthcare. You will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working in support of account executives, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and setting meetings. You’ll join an experienced Research Administration Sales Team that provides significant career development and growth opportunities while you bring exciting, new cloud-based eRA solutions to market.

 

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing new prospect qualified meetings via outbound cold calls and emails
  • Gather and document prospect requirements
  • Strategic prospecting with Account Executives in your territory
  • Drive new business pipeline development
  • Build trust and credibility with Cayuse team members
  • Guide prospects to our methodical sales process
  • Maintain Cayuse CRM with both accurate and timely information

 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven professional
  • Track record of achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com, SalesLoft, or similar technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
