Location: Remote Role

As a Regional Sales Manager- Fire/EMS Accounts, you will be responsible to identify new, and grow existing relationships within the Fire/EMS space to drive increased revenue and profit for the Fire-Emergency-Industrial (FEI) division of Safe Fleet. This critical position will require the need to interface extensively with Fire and EMS end users which use our products every day. In addition, heavy interaction with the major dealer networks which provide additional sales scale for Safe Fleet.

Communication skills will need to be exemplary in this position. You must be comfortable with demonstrating and highlighting the features of the 4 brands in our product portfolio.

We develop, manufacture and sell best in class, high performance, safety related products. Our products provide increased functionality and integrated solutions for fleet vehicle manufacturers and operators.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify most suited end user, and dealers in the assigned fire/EMS territory
  • Develop deep relationships with identified key customers / dealers
  • Identify key pain points and provide product driven solutions when specific opportunities arise
  • Qualify incoming partnering requests and opportunities
  • Provide market feedback and recommendations to engineering and product teams
  • Communicate with major clients on a regular basis and respond to specific queries
  • Serve the end user by being, very responsive to inquiries, and show willingness to support the relationship by offering help
  • Serve the major Fire Departments within the territory to enhance the Safe Fleet brand
  • Work with the other Regional Sales Manager across the country to provide assistance as needed in enhancing the Safe Fleet brand
  • Must be willing to be the owner of all Safe Fleet related products at the customer. This includes, but not limited to, quality complaints, organizing product reviews, organizing returns, assisting in executing in-field service repairs, and connecting the customers need with a relevant discussion at SafeFleet.
  • Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
  • Achieve assigned strategic account objectives
  • Monitor and maintain sales performance metrics independently as well as in Sales Force CRM system
  • Attend regional and national trade shows
  • Territory = To be more clearly defined, estimated: 
  • Travel = As Necessary (estimated 50%-70%) 
  • Vehicle=Provided to demonstrate products and equipment

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of sales and business development experience
  • Fire/EMS Service involvement and/or extensive industry knowledge required
  • Proven experience communicating a value proposition and go- to market model
  • Direct experience in managing, and holding accountable, a regional/national dealership network
  • Track record of success developing strategic alliances
  • Extensive Fire/EMS industry contact network
  • Proven track record of delivery of revenue generating partnerships
  • Proven track-record meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners
  • Strong work ethic ability to work in a highly transparent, cross-functional, collaborative environment
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage time and competing priorities with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and verbal/written communications skills
  • Unquestionable integrity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Fire/EMS apparatus specking software knowledge a plus
