Carbmee is an enterprise software company headquartered in Berlin and with offices in Berlin and Munich. We offer a cloud solution that enables companies to analyse, manage & reduce their carbon footprint. We measure our success in the greenhouse gas emission reduction of our customers.

Your Role & Mission - You are an experienced Talent Acquisition expert passionate about managing the entire recruitment cycle across different roles during the most exciting growth phase of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing carbmee’s recruiting process, building effective hiring strategies with managers, and ensuring that the best talent is attracted, selected, and integrated into the organization. Working closely with Co-Founders and the Operations team, you will play a key role in driving the company’s growth and culture forward while fighting climate change.

Our Hiring Process - Our People & Culture team is growing fast and we are seeking talented individuals across different backgrounds and experience levels. That means each interview step is focused on assessing both technical and soft skills across our team competency framework. Your tasks
  • Lead and manage end-to-end the full recruiting cycle from screening to offer stage for both business and technical roles

  • Source, interview, and coordinate the hiring process across all teams and tenures from junior to senior management positions

  • Be a strategic partner for hiring managers and internal stakeholders by consulting them on market insights and developing talent acquisition strategies in alignment with the company’s business objectives

  • Ensure an outstanding candidate experience, and foster diversity and as unbiased hiring decisions as possible within yourself and those around you in alignment with carbmee DE&I principles

  • Make your data work for you - monitor and analyze recruitment metrics and KPIs to track progress and efficiency of the hiring process and make data-driven decisions

  • Conduct interview training, share recruiting best practices, and partner with hiring managers to always improve the quality of the hiring process

  • Manage and develop the employer branding strategy in collaboration with the Marketing team ensuring that the company attracts, hires, and retains top talent 

  • Work closely with other team members of the Operations & Strategy team to support additional employee experience and team engagement initiatives while the team grows

Your profile
  • Extensive experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a similar role in the tech start-up environment

  • Ideally, you have experience in hiring and scaling teams in rapidly changing and growing companies

  • A solid track record of hires from individual contributors to management levels across all teams, from business to engineering roles

  • Proven experience in leading full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to offers

  • Knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, sourcing techniques, and market trends. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software, for example Personio

  • Expertise in sourcing and talent pipeline management - you have lots of ideas on how to build diverse talent pipelines and attract diverse candidate pools

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You know how to build relationships and partner with hiring managers to successfully hire across diverse teams

  • Fluent English skills are a must, German skills are a strong plus

  • You are data-driven and know how to make sense of recruitment metrics and make data-driven decisions related to hiring

  • You’re a team player, who values self-reflection and an open feedback culture - if needed you can advise and challenge

  • You are passionate about business sustainability, carbon emissions management, and climate tech in alignment with Carbmee’s mission and vision

  • You are excited to join our diverse and international team in Berlin and collaborate remotely with our remote teams
