  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, providing updates, facilitating review sessions, and ensuring alignment with the client’s strategic goals.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to client teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Current State Analysis: Conduct a thorough assessment of the client’s existing DevSecOps processes, tooling, and capabilities. Prepare a detailed findings report with gap analysis and recommendations.
  • Target State Definition: Define the future state for People, Process, and Technology in line with DevSecOps principles, incorporating Everything-as-Code, Shift-left strategies, and a SaaS security model.
  • Implementation Roadmap: Develop and oversee a multi-year, phased implementation roadmap to achieve the target state, including enterprise tooling, metrics automation, and squad uplift.
  • DevSecOps Center of Excellence (COE): Establish and define the mission, organizational role, and responsibilities of a DevSecOps COE, including a collaboration model with various squads and operations.
  • Tooling Implementation: Identify high-impact quick wins and guide the implementation of strategic tooling for both enterprise and squad levels in collaboration with client teams, adhering to Agile best practices.

What You’ll Bring with You:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in DevSecOps, with a strong track record of leading large-scale transformations in complex, regulated environments (preferably within the financial services sector).
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of DevSecOps principles, practices, and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud platforms, Everything-as-Code, and Shift-left security strategies.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multi-year, multi-phased projects, with a focus on delivery acceleration and operational soundness.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience in building and leading high-performing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Communication: Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., DevOps, SRE, CISSP, CISM, PMP) are highly desirable.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
