Job description

What we are looking for:

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer to join our team.

 

Location: Remote work.  The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, NC, NJ, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.

 

The Test Engineer will perform quality control and assurance activities and apply automated and manual test techniques to deliver software testing and process excellence.

 

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

  • Test products and software applications developed by our highly technical team in an Agile environment
  • Participate in the test execution for web, mobile, and SharePoint across multiple platforms
  • Support our customer by testing, documenting, and managing findings of quality
  • Responsible for creating and communicating an automated test plan
  • Providing high-level training for testers and developers on how to implement the automated testing plan
  • Creating test cases and test scripts based on the requirements traceability matrix and requirements use
    cases
  • Maintain quality metrics across the project
  • Implementing test cases, logging bugs through tracking tools, creating test reports for
    the development team
  • Facilitate process improvement activities by documenting current processes and helping to improve them and facilitate documentation of best practices
  • Develop and integrate automated testing processes
  • UI testing and developing UAT procedures

 

What you bring:

Experience, Education & Training: 

  • 3+ years of software testing experience 
  • Experience in developing and implementing automated test plans and user acceptance testing
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Agile environments and the Scrum methodology
  • Ability to understand complex process needs and strong analytical skills
  • Experience achieving Section 508 compliance
  • Experience with development support including coding, bug fixing, testing, and documentation
  • Experience with SharePoint 365 and 2013 (on prem)
  • Experience with Application Life-cycle Management tools
  • Experience prioritizing bugs, and verifying fixes as they are released
  • Experience in supporting multiple development teams
