Job description

Role: Demand Generation Manager

Base Salary: $90,000-123,000 USD

Description: The Demand Generation Manager at Blackthorn will play a pivotal role in the growth of our organization by driving marketing programs that optimize the acquisition of new clients. This role is crucial in our marketing team and requires a candidate with solid skills in leading integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution for Blackthorn.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies, including digital and offline campaigns to target new customers.
  • Design, implement, and manage marketing campaigns that improve lead acquisition and conversion rates.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure high lead velocity and proper lead qualification.
  • Use marketing tools to measure, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of demand generation campaigns.
  • Coordinate with and contribute to content and design teams to create effective marketing materials. This role will require content creation. 
  • Report on performance metrics and provide insights for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in B2B SaaS marketing.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of leads from the marketing to the sales pipeline.
  • Generate and increase awareness of the company's products or services.
  • Manage the demand generation budget efficiently.

What we look for:

  • Proven experience in B2B SaaS marketing or a similar role, with a strong background in digital marketing, marketing analytics, and sales enablement.
  • In-depth knowledge of various marketing platforms, technologies, and best practices. Including The Google Marketing Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), and LinkedIn Advertising.
  • Strong understanding of lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent proficiency in using marketing automation software.
  • Strong analytical abilities to drive key business insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven abilities to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • The right candidate may have the opportunity to manage a team and progress to a director-level position quickly. 
  • Must be data-driven and have a deep understanding of our buyer journey.
