Job description

Education Perfect is an EdTech platform designed to empower educators and amplify their impact in the classroom. We aim to enable teachers to personalise learning at scale with a range of powerful learning, assessment, and insights tools, helping them and their students reach their full potential.

We are looking for an experienced teacher to support the development of high-quality, rigorous resources for our new QCAA English Literature content, specifically for the novel Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad.

In particular, we are looking for a Contributing Writer to write comprehensive, curriculum-aligned lesson scripts that will be transformed into interactive lessons on our online platform.

This opportunity might suit you if:

  • You are an experienced teacher of the novel Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad;
  • You have at least 3+ years teaching and planning resources for the selected text;
  • You are experienced in, and enjoy, writing your own educational resources;
  • You have a strong understanding of the needs of students studying and preparing for their assessments;
  • You have in-depth pedagogical knowledge and outstanding attention to detail;
  • You can work independently and meet submission deadlines effectively and consistently;
  • You are open to collaboration and receiving feedback on your written work.

Applicants should be able to commit 15 hours per week from October 2024 to January 2025. Employment will be contract-based.
