Why This Role Is Important to Arcadia

The Strategic Partnerships Manager is vital for Arcadia's expansion, responsible for cultivating, overseeing, and enhancing our principal strategic alliances within the Life Sciences sector.

This role entails managing current channel partners, sourcing and integrating new partners, and fostering revenue growth through strategic collaborations. As an integral part of our newly established Life Sciences Division, the Strategic Partnerships Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Delivery, Engineering, Data, and Marketing.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with extensive experience in developing and expanding Life Sciences channel partnerships. They should have a deep understanding of life sciences & pharmaceutical end-users and be able to speak eloquently and at length on real world data (RWD) use cases, across a wide range of medical, R&D, and commercial topics across therapeutic areas.

Candidates should have fluency in utilizing EMR data to derive novel insights within the life sciences sector. They must be knowledgeable and familiar with A) EMR vendors, like Truven and Veradigm B) Real-world data marketplaces like Healthverity C) Data aggregators, like IQVIA and Komodo, as well as D) Datavant’s tokenization. This depth of knowledge will be vital for articulating the value of partnerships, navigating complex negotiations, and building robust, data-driven relationships that align with Arcadia’s strategic objectives.

What Success Looks Like
In 3 months
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Arcadia's offerings, distinct advantages, and market positioning to effectively communicate the value proposition
- Establish strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and current channel partners, setting the stage for effective collaboration and strategic alignment
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current partner landscape, identifying areas for optimization with current partners, and new opportunities to cultivate new partnerships
- Develop a detailed strategic plan for managing and optimizing current partnerships and cultivating new ones, ensuring alignment with Arcadia’s overall business objectives

In 6 months
- Demonstrate progress in deepening relationships with existing partners by initiating at least one significant joint project or co-development initiative
- Successfully onboard at least two new channel partners that align with Arcadia’s strategic objectives, enhancing the ecosystem
- Create and execute joint marketing and sales programs with partners to increase market visibility and lead generation
- Establish a partner performance KPIs and providing regular performance reports to senior management to inform strategy adjustments and highlight successes

In 12 months 
- Recognized internally as a key leader for driving innovative partnerships and strategic growth in the life sciences sector
- Expand the partner ecosystem by identifying and onboarding additional high-potential partners that can drive further growth and market penetration
- Have a clear impact on the Life Sciences Division's growth and Arcadia's market presence, evidenced by measurable increases in revenue and partner-driven opportunities
- Continuously refine and optimize the partner management strategy to align with evolving business goals

What You'll Be Doing
  • Serving as the leader in developing and expanding our network of channel partners that are integral to leveraging Arcadia’s data solutions for life sciences
  • Managing and maximizing the value derived from existing channel partnerships, focusing on enhancing our life sciences business and rapidly growing this ecosystem
  • Developing and leading the strategy to expand the channel partner network under commercial terms that align with Arcadia’s business model and ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Crafting and implementing network strategies, defining offering tiers, and streamlining the contracting process to meet corporate objectives in our Life Sciences products
  • Leading and coordinating critical negotiations directly with partners or collaboratively with other stakeholders
  • Working in close partnership with cross-functional teams, including Product, Delivery, Engineering, Data, and Marketing, to ensure seamless integration and support for channel partners
  • Continuously monitoring and analyzing partner performance metrics to optimize the effectiveness of the partnerships and adjust strategies based on evolving market demands
  • Providing regular updates and detailed reports on partnership activities and performance to senior management
  • Staying informed of industry trends and competitive dynamics to proactively identify new partnership opportunities and adapting partnership strategies accordingly
