  • Help shape our technical architecture, infrastructure, and best practices.
  • Work directly with internal and external brand partners to customize our product to their needs and continually improve end-user experience.

  • About you
  • You have a passion for pixel-perfect user interface development and high quality user experience enabled by well architected software.
  • You take pride in creating experiences that are a joy to use and are excited to work on a team with a deep background in product design.
  • You’re self-directed and comfortable building, shipping and maintaining products with real users, moving fast, and reacting quickly to a changing environment.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • You are mission driven and love the fact that, the better we do as a company, the larger positive impact we'll have on the climate crisis

  • Skills / Experience
  • Professional experience building and shipping complete production web applications from the back-end to the front-end
  • Fluent in Javascript/Typescript, experience with React, NodeJS
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, and an understanding of database performance
  • Bonus: Experience with Apollo Client / GraphQL
  • Bonus: Experience in eCommerce, marketplace or multi-tenant platform development
  • Bonus: Experience setting up and maintaining end-to-end integration and unit tests

In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible for equity as well.

Archive is a Series A startup backed by top-tier investors including Lightspeed and Bain Capital. We’re a fast growing team, working with over 50 brands including The North Face and New Balance. The founders, Emily and Ryan, bring a mix of business and technology experience including 2 startups and a successful exit.

We are honored to be named Fast Company's #2 Most Innovative Company in Retail in 2024.

The team is currently remote-first with a hub office in NY and optional in-person work for those located in the area. We have company offsites twice a year to bring the full team together in person, and occasional travel is expected as part of the job.

We consider applicants of all backgrounds. If you are excited about what we’re building but don't meet some of the criteria above, please don’t let that discourage you from applying. Please note, we are unable to accept applications from candidates outside of the US at this time.
