Join Our Team as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager of Water/Waste Water

Power House Resources is seeking a highly skilled PM / SR. PM for a Temp to Perm position with a prestigious firm. This opportunity is perfect for a seasoned professional ready to make an impact in the industry, with the potential to secure a long-term role.

You'll be working with a dynamic team known for their expertise in Water / Waste Water, WWTP and Water Purification. Our projects span across California, addressing complex challenges with innovative, cost-effective solutions.

If you have a passion for leadership and a background as a Project Manager over MEPC, we invite you to apply and contribute to our mission of excellence in Water and civil engineering projects.

**Responsibilities:**

The ideal candidate is an experienced PM in the water/wastewater space, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the PM seat in projects valued at $10-50MM, working for a self-performing GC, driven, safety focused, team player, and results oriented.  Engineering degree is preferred, but not required if the employee has plenty of applicable experience.

Their immediate assignment will be to close out our $8MM project in Whittier, CA, including final negotiation of change orders, finalize as-builts, O&M manuals, final billings, retention collection, etc.  Our project trailer is being demobilized this Friday, and there should be little to no work left in the field by the time this person starts.  We anticipate this project being closed out by the end of this year.  In parallel, they will also support our estimating efforts for the water/wastewater group, until we land our next large project, to which they would be assigned.

In general, our PM’s assist with estimating pursuits while they are in between projects, that is how we ensure their continuity with the company, and it helps them hitting the ground running on their next project when they’ve been involved in the estimating phase.  Our PM’s work out of our Costa Mesa office during those times.  When a PM is assigned to a project, they work out of the project trailer, wherever the project is located at, within Southern CA.  This position does not come with work from home “privileges”.  PM reports directly to our Operations Manager.

Compensation will be DOE, but given the size and complexity of the projects we intend this person to manage, it will be in the $120-160K annualized for a PM and $160-180K for a Senior PM. As a PM, this person would get a taxable vehicle/fuel allowance of $1,300 per month. This is an exempt position and expected to work 50-60 hours per week, mostly Monday through Friday, with very limited weekend work.
