Job Summary

The BI Analyst will be an integral team member, collaborating closely with product managers and other stakeholders to identify and define Key Performance Indicators for our customer digital platforms. This role is critical in implementing and measuring the success of technology solutions, driving enhancements, and shaping the future of our customer-facing digital applications. This role will be a member of the Enterprise Analytics team, responsible for direct analytics support of digital product teams. 

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Dashboard Creation - Gather requirements, understand desired outcomes, update release notes, and suggest novel ways to further derive value from data 

  • Analytics Strategy Development: Forge partnerships with product managers/leads to craft and execute a customer-centric analytics strategy, enhancing the digital user experience 

  • Digital Experience Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer’s digital journey and its operational implications, using this insight to enhance digital interactions and ensure precise measurement of all digital products. 

  • Analytics Tools Optimization: Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of current digital analytics tools, ensuring accurate data capture and identifying optimization opportunities. 

  • Tagging and Data Integrity: Implement robust tagging for all digital assets, resolving inconsistencies to preserve data integrity. 

  • Experimentation Collaboration: Work with Digital Experimentation leads to ensure the accurate capture and analysis of multivariate testing outcomes. 

  • Delivery Process Participation: Actively participate in the digital delivery process to ensure analytics requirements are met and verified. 

  • Insights and Reporting: Manage and develop recommendations related to tagging adjustments and product improvements by utilizing data insights in Tableau, offering both standard and tailored reports to aid strategic decision-making. 

  • Data Collection:  Leverage SQL to retrieve, manage, and condense data from extensive datasets to generate reports that evaluate performance in relation to specified business objectives.  

 

Education and/or Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree from a college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in web analytics platforms with a strong emphasis on tag validation, testing, and reporting. 

  • Proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau or Datorama is required. 

  • Prior experience in real estate, construction, or financial technology is preferred. 

  • 3-5+ years of working experience in data analysis or data science, digital products and/or marketing 

 

Skills/Specialized Knowledge 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with executive and senior leaders. 

  • Commitment to objective analysis, focusing on causal inference rather than anecdotes or simple correlations. 

  • Deep knowledge of digital platforms and features and understanding of current technologies that drive user engagement and business growth. 

  • Objective data analysis skills to reduce personal bias. 

  • Proficiency in Tableau, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Snowflake SQL. 

  • Experience in all SDLC stages including development, testing, debugging, implementation, documentation, user training, and support. 

  • Skilled at creating data mapping documents, transformation rules, maintaining data dictionaries, and managing data warehousing and migration tasks. 

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and work effectively remotely. 

  • Proactive problem-solving approach, taking ownership, and adapting to change. 

  • Strong critical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Physical and Mental Demands 

  • This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.  

  • The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking.

Salary Range
$61,650.00 - $106,860.00
