Job Overview

Join WorkStaff USA, a distinguished staffing agency recognized for connecting exceptional professionals with leading organizations nationwide. We are currently seeking a seasoned Environmental Project Manager to join our remote team, specializing in pipeline projects involving natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil. Candidates must possess expertise in FERC Section 7© regulations and demonstrate experience with Third-party EIS documentation. This position is available for qualified candidates located anywhere in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple projects from routing and siting through to construction compliance.
  • Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, including those related to FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documents.
  • Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure compliance and alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts, to drive project success.
  • Engage with public stakeholders during hearings and community meetings to communicate project impacts and benefits.
  • Manage project scope, budget, timelines, and forecasting to ensure successful delivery.
  • Participate in business development activities and represent the company at industry conferences.
  • Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to uphold environmental standards.

Required Skills

  • In-depth understanding of FERC regulations and federal environmental protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting within the pipeline sector.
  • Proven self-starter with a proactive approach to project management.
