Job Overview: As a Senior Data Center Systems Architect, your expertise will be crucial in steering the evolution of data center architectures and solutions. You will collaborate with a diverse group of engineers, researchers, and business partners to design innovative systems that enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability across our extensive global infrastructure, including over 100 data centers and 1 million servers serving more than 1 billion customers worldwide.
Your role will involve assessing market and business needs to formulate architectures that align with our dedication to environmental sustainability and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical leadership for the system architecture and engineering team, developing scalable and innovative data center solutions.
- Define system requirements, specifications, architectures, and interfaces that meet customer expectations and comply with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, software engineering, hardware engineering, and testing, to ensure exceptional product delivery.
- Supervise system integration, verification, and validation efforts, including prototype testing and gathering customer feedback.
- Provide mentoring and support to the system engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Familiarity with mission-critical systems such as data centers, healthcare, or utilities.
- Demonstrated success in designing systems for industrial or mission-critical environments.

Compensation: The typical base pay range for this role in the U.S. is \(117,200 - \)229,200 annually, with variations for specific locations such as the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City, where the range is \(153,600 - \)250,200. Additional benefits and compensation options are available.
