Key Responsibilities

  • Design, enhance, and maintain SQL Server databases, focusing on developing intricate stored procedures and functions.
  • Utilize tuning advisors and execution plans to optimize and accelerate long-running queries.
  • Create and implement database objects using Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML).
  • Safeguard database integrity by complying with established security regulations and guidelines.
  • Generate and manage reporting outputs, encompassing SQL scripts as part of business report analysis and development.
  • Adhere to best practices in data analysis and architecture while actively contributing to agile project teams.
  • Debug and resolve stored procedure issues efficiently, ensuring robust performance.

Required Skills

  • Over 6 years of dedicated experience in SQL Server development, particularly with SQL Server versions 2008⁄2012.
  • Expertise in constructing complex stored procedures and performance tuning techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server Analysis Services is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of DDL, DML, database security measures, and reporting deliverables.
  • Proven capability to take charge of projects and guide junior developers.
  • Familiarity with technology architecture, cloud technologies, Software as a Service (SaaS), and product lifecycle practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in healthcare systems is a plus.
