Job Overview

Join our esteemed team as a Senior Field Property Risk Engineering Consultant in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to helping businesses navigate risk and enhance safety protocols. You will engage with a diverse clientele, offering your expertise in property risk management to foster business resilience through loss reduction and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth assessments of property and natural hazard risks, delivering actionable strategies for risk enhancement.
  • Assist in plan evaluations and guide clients through change management to facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Administer account risk portfolios, supplying strategic risk engineering services tailored to underwriting and customer requirements.
  • Formulate and deploy customer service strategies that focus on minimizing losses and bolstering operational performance.
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams, attending client and broker discussions to provide engineering insights.
  • Supervise property account engineering services, ensuring timely, cost-efficient, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide advanced property consultation, which includes identifying key loss exposures, investigating significant losses, and advising on best practices in property management.
  • Support the marketing of risk transfer insurance products in partnership with underwriting professionals and agents.

Required Skills

  • Superior communication, consultative, and teamwork capabilities.
  • High proficiency in PC software and systems.
  • Familiarity with the automotive manufacturing sector is advantageous.
  • Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) designation is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Risk Engineering, or a High School Diploma (or equivalent) accompanied by 8+ years of experience in the field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in collaborative team environments.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or a related discipline.
