Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Associate Director, Project Management to become an integral part of our Global Project and Alliance Management (GPAM) team within the Research & Development division. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate closely with team leaders on Early and Late Drug Development initiatives, driving efforts that advance our innovative drug and vaccine projects. Your contributions will be critical in propelling our research pipeline and unlocking its potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the comprehensive drug development process, handling highly complex projects.
  • Drive and influence cross-functional teams to formulate and implement effective strategies for successful project execution.
  • Lead the development, approval, and execution of integrated project plans that align with project phases and intricacies.
  • Synthesize strategic and tactical insights from various disciplines, including clinical, regulatory, market access, manufacturing, and commercial.
  • Maintain and construct project schedules and essential information using enterprise project management systems.
  • Proactively identify risks and ensure transparent communication with team members, management, and stakeholders.
  • Cultivate relationships and networks to enhance team collaboration and effectively eliminate barriers to achieving business outcomes.
  • Navigate organizational frameworks to assist teams in comprehending governance and business necessities for informed decision-making.
  • Facilitate key team meetings, establish comprehensive agendas, encourage participation, and offer valuable project management insights.
  • Engage in departmental initiatives aimed at bolstering collaboration and refining processes within GPAM.
  • Mentor and guide Specialist and Senior Specialist project managers involved in related projects.
  • Share valuable lessons learned and best practices to positively influence the GPAM community.

  • Salary Range: \(135,500.00 - \)213,400.00, based on experience and qualifications.
