Job Overview

Join our esteemed organization as an Epic Tapestry and Billing Application Analyst and leverage your technical expertise in a role that fosters collaboration and innovation. Key Responsibilities

  • Incident Management: Efficiently resolve user-reported incidents, escalating complex challenges to appropriate team leads or project leaders when required.
  • System Monitoring: Vigilantly oversee the performance and stability of the Epic Tapestry environment and Oracle Revenue Management and Billing system (ORMB).
  • Process Oversight: Effectively manage build migration paths, oversee change control procedures, and ensure efficient ticket management.
  • Customer Support: Deliver exceptional customer service and maintenance for Epic Tapestry and ORMB, while creating intuitive training materials for end-users.
  • Project Participation: Actively engage in and occasionally lead projects, translating client needs into actionable outcomes and managing customer relationships effectively.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Initiate and guide meetings with end-users and internal personnel, serving as a liaison to promote adherence to best practices and quality standards.
  • End-User Satisfaction: Prioritize high levels of end-user satisfaction, proactively communicate to mitigate potential risks, and manage tracking and resolution of issues.
  • Documentation and Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations and document operational specifications for ORMB and Epic Tapestry functionality.
  • Process Improvement: Utilize specialized knowledge to refine processes, mentor junior staff, and oversee the assessment, design, validation, and implementation of the Epic system.
  • Reporting Needs: Collaborate with operations to identify and fulfill reporting needs for end-users and internal staff.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to peers regarding workflow processes, testing, and implementation.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years in a related field, with demonstrated experience in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB).
  • Certification: Active Epic certification in at least one Tapestry module.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS), Unix commands, and healthcare integration messaging formats (HL7, EDI, CSV, XML).
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of HIPAA and health plan regulatory requirements related to Enrollment and Eligibility.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field; or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with exceptional communication skills, and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Preferred: Experience with Epic Tapestry, membership and billing processes, production troubleshooting, payer/provider applications, ANSI 278 and 834 transactions, and familiarity with ITIL service methodology or Service NOW.

  • Salary range: \(102,750 to \)180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
