Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our Business Systems team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet our business needs while ensuring high performance and scalability. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and operations, to drive continuous improvements and innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of customized Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, triggers, Apex code, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Systems Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems (APIs, web services) to ensure smooth data flow between platforms.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Optimization: Identify and recommend optimizations to enhance platform performance and user experience.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality Salesforce solutions through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best development practices.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support to maintain the stability and performance of the Salesforce environment.
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage Salesforce development projects, ensuring they align with organizational standards and proactively addressing any risks or blockers.
  • Communication: Maintain transparency by proactively communicating progress, issues, and updates to stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

What You'll Bring

  • Required Skills and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture, including Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Web Components.
    • Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications.
    • Experience with Salesforce declarative tools (e.g., flows).
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and components.
    • Proven experience in developing and maintaining custom Salesforce applications.
    • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, and web services.
    • Solid understanding of Salesforce security models (profiles, permission sets, roles).
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DX.
    • Knowledge of Business Systems processes and support for operational teams within Salesforce.
    • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
