Job description

Join our prestigious organization as a Procurement Consulting Lead with a focus on Research and Development (R&D) in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

Sourcing Expertise: Develop and issue compelling Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Requests for Proposal (RFP) to identify and engage top-tier suppliers for our R&D initiatives.
Analytical Proficiency: Assess data from competing proposals to determine optimal value and successfully negotiate advantageous contracts.
Project Oversight: Manage pivotal R&D procurement projects, guaranteeing timely execution and seamless delivery of critical resources.
Contract Management: Review and execute contracts, including Statements of Work and Change Orders, to ensure clarity and mutual understanding with suppliers.

Required Skills

Qualifications

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in R&D procurement, specifically in the biopharmaceutical, CRO, or CMO sectors, with a preference for expertise in pre-clinical lab consumables and capital equipment.
A Bachelor's degree is essential; an MBA is advantageous. Certifications in Supply Chain Management or Project Management are also favorable.
