A day in the life:

As the Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role that combines market development expertise with hands-on technical support, ensuring the success of CVRx technologies in therapeutic applications. This role is dynamic and multi-faceted, offering a blend of strategic planning, educational support, and direct clinical engagement.

Residency within a commutable distance of the Detroit, MI Metro area is required for consideration.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drives strategies to meet patient implant and revenue goals.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of complex physiological and technical principles pertaining to CVRx technologies and therapies.
  • Supports implants and follow-up procedures and visits. Provides troubleshooting and other technical assistance to clinical trials personnel and CVRx employees.
  • Provides support to clinical investigators in assigned institutions; receives technical inquiries and researches solutions to questions or problems.
  • Represents CVRx, Inc. devices in front of leading cardiologists and hypertension specialists and cardiac/vascular surgeons to insure their understanding of the clinical therapy;
  • Provides on-call clinical support as needed, troubleshooting, including in-service education and training physicians in one-on-one sessions, and delivery of in-service education programs for hospital personnel and staff on technical matters relating to CVRx devices or studies.
  • Provides R&D support through the communication of investigator feedback on product enhancements or new product development ideas.
  • Delivers training programs for other clinical staff ensuring that clinical training and study objectives are met.
  • Support Clinical Research function to ensure high quality follow-up and completeness of data for the Company’s studies.

Requirements

What we expect of you:

  • BS/University degree in health sciences or engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device industry or academic experience or clinical experience with medical devices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively manage relationships with key customer groups  and CVRx staff.
  • Ability to master concepts of a medical & surgical nature and that of active implantable medical device technology
  • Independent, self-motivated, self-starter.

What we would like to see:

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Healthcare experience beneficial.
  • Experience with products dealing with advanced heart failure, cardiology and/or cardiac surgery therapeutic devices highly preferred.
  • Prefer a proven track record with clinical trial and technical training assignments.
  • Knowledge of market with clear understanding of competitive devices, strategies, advantages/disadvantages as they relate to the company’s devices.
  • Ability to interact with R&D to represent customer perspective in order to provide input on product enhancements and new product development.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office conditions.  This position will require interfacing with multiple internal departments and physician investigators / customers.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% plus.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against the Covid 19 virus, pass a drug test, and any other site-specific credentialing requirements.
